The free plan also gives you all the bot settings to create unlimited Bot accounts.
Nevertheless, you need to subscribe to Tekos Flow to create the bot scenario and actions.
Go to Tekos Chat and create your account by simply choosing your Username and Password. We highly recommend setting your email address for account recovery.
All conversations happen in rooms. A room is where all the members of the team can work together – share files, ideas, discuss projects, tasks, make video meetings, etc.
You can create chat rooms divided by team, project, client, etc.
Share your ideas in a public room or use a private room for targeted discussions.
Share rooms with companies and businesses you regularly work with.
You can also have a one-to-one chat with any team member by selecting a “Direct message” in his profile overview.
Unlike Slack, Tekos chat is decentralized. Businesses can host, own, and control their data; on-premise or in the cloud.

You can start a chat with people who are already using Tekos Chat by typing their Username or ID in the “Invite” box.
Otherwise, just type the email of the person you want to chat with and he/she will be invited to use the app.
You can invite someone by email or by sending them a link to a room.
You can do it if you are room Admin. By default, all room members can invite new members. To change this permission go to the room settings.
When someone has read a message his avatar is displayed to the right of the message. To know the user’s info and reading time just hover over the avatar or click on it on mobile app.
It depends on the room settings, your role, and permissions. By default, only Admin can remove messages, however, the Admin can change room permissions in the room settings.
Go to the menu under your name in the top left corner. You can change all of your general, security, and notifications preferences.
Yes, voice calls are available to all Tekos’ users.
Yes, video conferencing is one of Tekos basic features.
Yes! Hover over a message and click on the emoji icon. Emoji selection will popup- chose one and click on it.
Flow
Tekos Flow is a cloud service that manages Node-RED instances on behalf of users.
We use ‘vanilla’ Node-RED (with some very minor visual tweaks). We aim to make no changes to the Node-RED core so that nodes and flows run without changes or compatibility issues. When a new release of Node-RED comes out, we can just upgrade to the new one.
We have no formal relationship with IBM. We are active members of the Node-RED community but have developed Tekos Flow independently.
The free account is a great way to try Tekos Flow.
The Pro plan is for users who need real service with support and higher resource limits.
With the Premium plan, you can build apps.
An Action is something you want to perform in one of your apps. For example, creating a new contact in your CRM or sending an email. In a Bot, everything defined after the Trigger Event is an action.
If you have a Bot that is Triggered on a Form Submission and performs 3 actions, creates a contact in your CRM, waits for 5 mins, and sends a welcome email. It accounts for 3 Actions each time it is run i.e, if this Bot runs 10 times in a billing cycle, it accounts for 30 Actions.
Security
End-to-End encryption describes a scenario where a message is encrypted at the device or client of the sender and is only decrypted by the device or client of the receiver, with no decryption or reading performed on the server.
End-to-end encryption ensures that only you and the person you are communicating with can read or listen to what is being sent.
No, to make sure your messages are encrypted you have to enable encryption in the Room Settings.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force in Europe on May 25, 2018. We don’t use your data for ad targeting and we don’t sell it to others.
Tekos only keeps the information it needs to function as a feature-rich cloud service and which allows us to improve the application. Respect for your privacy is important to us, therefore we do not collect any personal or identifiable data for our statistics.
If you find content in Tekos public room or bot that you think is illegal, please contact us at contact@tekos.co. We do not process any requests related to private rooms.
